We took our game The Black Death to EGX in Birmingham! We were up late the night before working on our beta branch build as we wanted to show off and get people to test some new features that we were going to release in our next update, V0.09 (which is now out!).
So after not much sleep we drove down and it was straight into the deep end.
As soon as we got there Cameron and I headed over to the Twitch stage where we had a half hour session, showing off the game:
Then straight after Mitch, Cameron, Pete and I headed straight over to the Rezzed Session Stage to do a talk on 'Surviving Survival'. A 30 min developer talk where we discussed the journey and what we have learnt from launching into Early Access on Steam and developing while in Early Access. The talk was great fun and the time went very quickly and we only had a small amount of time for Q&A.
After a heavy first day the rest of EGX was pretty laid back; interviews, meeting other developers and showing people the game. We got some great feedback and were pumped to get back to work. Here are a bunch of other photos we took while there:
